Situated amongst Bradfords seedy industrial backstreets I was speechless when I walked into this pub. A great crowd with a warm buzz of banter and a fantastic selection of ales, the Copper Dragon Golden Pippin was brilliant. After drinking 7 pints I staggered off to find curry. I hope I get the chance to return to this pub again, one I dont think I will ever forget....

It's generally basic but not spit & sawdust. Wide selection of ales etc etc etc as noted by others and even on a very busy evening the service was excellent.
I was given directions by two people on how to find it and I detect a developing meme that it is a hike. However from the University central precinct it took me all of ten minutes' sedate walking down Richmond Road, left and across to Preston St and I was there before I knew it. Recherche unnecessary.

It's a bit of a hike from the centre of Bradford, but well worth the effort. Particularly enjoyed the Rat & Ratchet beer from Huddersfield, along with other Yorkshire micros. One of those pubs you don't want to leave.....

Every time I visit I can ask the staff about the beer and will find a few that I'm glad I tried plus a few old favourites. Basic seating, very basic toilets, it doesn't matter because its all about the beer! I used to live in Bradford, I think its the FC I miss the most, its certainly the spot I always revisit.

been going in here since the very first night it opened an absolutely cracking pub. decent enough prices, and great friendly folk, and barstaff, if you have'nt been here you don't know what you are missing.
