Well, they've extended the early closing to their beer festival

Maybe M C Escher could make sense of it...

The Falcon has developed a rather strange attitude to closing time: the back bar closes at 10:30, while service at the front
bar gets slower and slower, the staff wandering about polishing things, in the exact opposite of a last minute rush.

Like a lot of customers, I use the pub while waiting for trains. Since the last trains to Brighton are well after 11, the early
closing is a bit of a disappointment.

Large but welcoming Victorian pub with small dining area and authentic decor. Wide selection of ales - I stayed with Wooden Hand Pirate's Gold. Over a three pint visit after work I found good service by three or the four staff on and no problem with change. A good pub for the area and very close to Clapham Junction BR.

Pleasantly surprised as this one gets some mixed reviews. A really good choice of ales on pump, and a pretty unspoilt Victorian interior. I would agree service at the bar was slow (why only two staff on when it was busy and there's a long bar?), and some of the ales listed on the blackboard turn out not to be available. However you could do a lot worse and better than an identikit chain pub as it has some real character.

Yep, staff problem ! Waited ages to try and get one of their interesting looking beers. Nobody wanted to serve me so after 10 mins or so I left, beerless and found a nice little boozer up the street.
