| A bit on the pretentious side of things, but in York's self proclaimed "Cultural Quarter" so I guess that is to be expected. A bit run of the mill, lots of overpriced premium lager and cocktails. I guess if we were in the eighties, this place would be the personification of a Yuppies hangout. Nothing terribly wrong with it, but it's only a two minute walk to Stonegate, Goodramgate and St Sampson's Square, where plenty of real pubs await ! MountainMan - 6 Feb 2010 17:07 |
| trendy wine bar,but quite good as such places go.nice dimly lit interior and music.2-for-1 cocktail offer a bit of a fib,as they tasted 98% lemonade with very little actual booze in.would visit again though. toolster - 29 May 2009 10:28 |
