I've often found a lot of the pubs around Euston to be real dives. But this one has a more upmarket feel. 3 ales were on - Timothy Taylor Landlord, Caledonian Deuchars IPA & Wadworth St George & The Dragon. There is a 4th handpull, but the Pride was off. Seemed a little unusual, in that the barman was serving direct to tables. The portraits of topless woman around the walls are more in an arty taste than you might imagine, considering the seediness of this particular street. The gents toilets left a little to be desired. But otherwise, not a bad pub. blue_scrumpy - 23 Apr 2012 19:02
Stopped in on Saturday night for a drink to get out of the snow. Roaring fire and friendly service. Several ales on including Deuchers' IPA and Tim Taylor's Landlord. Another in the decent selection of pubs around Euston station. DuchyBoy - 6 Feb 2012 08:51
OK pub, when I was in there only a choice of two ales. One was horrid, one was OK. Not the best pub. TheHorsesMouth - 29 Jun 2011 13:27
Handy for Eutson station and less madding crowd than the one down the road. Pleasant enough place; though the toilets could do with some work. Reasonable ales and outside seating. Worth a visit. digby.smith - 28 Mar 2011 15:23
Definately worth a visit - I happened upon this pub while transfering from Euston Station to Pancreas, its directly between the two stations. Inside decor was very ecclectic, mis matched furniture, interesting art work, smooth lounge style music, made for a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere . I ordered the Steak Sandwhich with Home made fries, I have to say it was delicious, steak cooked to a perfect medium as requested, big fat well cooked chips really did hit the spot. There was table service with a smile, the young barmaid was helpful and attentive without being over bearing and intrusive. I stayed for 3 hrs, with the free Wifi available I was able to work and pretty much spent the whole lay over in the pub. I was surprised to see they carry Leffe and Hoegaarden belgium beers. Definately recommend this establishment. samdhl - 24 Mar 2011 14:41
